Every crew has a leader.

Unfortunately, ours is Winchester.

Winchester is the proper English foxhound of the operation. Tall, dignified, calm, and always carrying himself like he is the only professional working in a building full of idiots.

Think Magnum P.I., MacGyver and Maverick rolled into one hound.

Most evenings he can be found conducting patrols around the property, looking out toward the woods like he knows something the rest of us don't.

Then a deer or fox shows up.

And somewhere in Winchester's head the synth music starts.

🎶 "Take on Me..."

His ears perk.

His nose points toward the woods.

His tail starts keeping time like a metronome.

Somewhere out there...

A whitetail freezes.

A fox realizes the neighborhood just got interesting.

And Winchester quietly thinks...

"Looks like my shift just started."

He's not reckless.

He's professional.

He believes every evening deserves one last patrol before settling onto the couch to watch reruns of The A-Team and dream about tomorrow's adventure.

By the time he strolls back into the yard, muddy paws and all, he wears the same expression every hound owner knows...

"What? I was only gone for five minutes."
