After spending the night enjoying his freedom, Dean was located by a family the following morning and finally decided civilization wasn't so bad.

๐Ÿšจ MISSION UPDATE: DEAN HAS SURRENDERED ๐Ÿšจ

Neighbors, we can officially stand down.

The fugitive has been captured.

๐Ÿ˜‚

A family found Dean this morning and contacted us.

By the time I got there, our great explorer had apparently reached an important conclusion:

Freedom isn't all it's cracked up to be.

After spending the night doing whatever Dean does when Dean goes to BFE, the country boy had finally had enough.

I pulled up.

Dean looked at me.

No dramatic reunion.

No explanation.

No apology.

He just walked over and got into the truck.

๐Ÿ˜‚

That was it.

The same hound who spent the night living like some outlaw on the frontier suddenly looked like a guy who missed his bed and wanted somebody else to drive.

He was exhausted.

He was safe.

And most importantlyโ€ฆ

He was HOME.

Huge thanks to the family who found him, kept him safe and reached out.

Once again the neighborhood Bad Hound Fugitive Recovery Network comes through.

FINAL STATUS:

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ Roscoe โ€” home ๐ŸŽฉ Winchester โ€” home ๐ŸŒพ Dean โ€” surrendered ๐ŸฆŒ Buck Norris โ€” still wanted for questioning

Dean has returned to headquarters.

I would like to say he learned something.

But we all know better.
